Keystone Human Services Strengthens Commitment to Community Services for People with Disability with Acquisition of New Jersey-Based Partnerships for People

As of April 1, 2018, Keystone Human Services has acquired Partnerships for People, a New Jersey-based nonprofit supporting people with disability to live and work in the community.

Harrisburg, PA (PRWeb) April 1, 2018—Keystone Human Services is pleased to announce the acquisition of Partnerships for People, a New Jersey-based human services organization. The acquisition is part of Keystone’s strategy of Advancing the Human Spirit by growing both domestically and internationally.

Partnerships is known for its excellent work supporting people with intellectual disability with supported housing, employment services, and community inclusion. The organization will operate as a subsidiary of Keystone, maintaining their name and senior leadership while gaining administrative and leadership support from Keystone.

This acquisition benefits both organizations, combining expertise to support the most vulnerable citizens of New Jersey.

“Partnerships has been serving people with disability in New Jersey for over 30 years and shares Keystone’s unwavering commitment to advancing the human spirit, supporting real community inclusion, and celebrating everyday lives,” says Charles Hooker, President and CEO of Keystone Human Services. “Together, we will continue to grow and support people in New Jersey, along with our work in Pennsylvania, Delaware, Connecticut, Moldova, and India.”

This acquisition aligns with Keystone’s Strategic Plan to expand quality supports for people with disability, diversify services across a greater geographic area, and develop expert leadership, all to promote full community inclusion.

“We look forward to our work in New Jersey,” says Hooker. “Keystone will continue to look for opportunities to expand our mission in the US and internationally.”
